How to Wash and Care for Jacquard and Plissé Abayas
Simple steps for washing, ironing and storing so your abaya stays like new for years.
01Washing
Wash cold, by hand or on a delicate machine cycle.
Turn it inside out and use a mild detergent without bleach.
02Drying
Do not wring. Press gently with a towel and dry on a hanger in the shade.
Strong sun fades colour over time.
03Ironing
Iron jacquard on low heat, inside out or under a cloth.
Never iron plissé: hang it and the pleats settle by themselves.
04Storing
Use a wide hanger so the shoulders keep their shape.
Store it in a breathable cloth bag, not plastic.
